Today, more than ever, living a fit and healthy lifestyle is an important life goal for us. Nowadays, we have the technology and a clearer understanding of fitness and health. As a result, we are always on the lookout for the latest and the best information on how to maintain our health and improve our fitness.

Fitness is about the person.

Fitness depends on the person. It is recommended that an average adult should exercise for 150 minutes a week, if it is a teenager, he/she should exercise for 1 hour or more of moderate to strong physical activity daily and so on.

70/30 Rule.

The 70/30 rule. Physical fitness is 30% exercise and 70% diet. This rule is very important because it is difficult to get people to exercise hard enough or long enough to see significant weight loss fast enough to meet their expectations. It’s not scientifically possible to eat everything you want and lose weight or gain weight. You have to do it the honest way, with a food and exercise plan that makes sense and most importantly, you follow it!

It's OK if you can only work out on weekends.

Although it is recommended to work out every day, you can work out on weekends. People who exercise on weekends get similar results to those working out for an equal amount of time spread throughout each week. Working out also affects your mental health. It helps you make healthier choices throughout the day.

Focus on the overall health.

You should focus on your overall health not only on weight loss or weight gain. Many people exercise with weight loss or weight gain in mind, but just by increasing your physical activity you can’t lose or gain weight. Focus is the key to getting better and making long-term progress. The more you focus, or be mindful of the small details of exercises, the more you will be able to succeed.

It's fine to keep your workouts short.

It's totally fine to keep your workouts short. Short workouts can effectively promote weight loss, but they also need to be frequent. If you stop your workout in the middle and finish it later, then it’s fine, but it’s better if you finish it on the same day. Before starting to work out you should warm up. Warming up before your workout helps you prepare your body for aerobic activity.

Briefly to conclude.

Remember the 70/30 rule. 70% is the diet and 30% is exercise. It is ok to work out on the weekends. If you don’t find time in your daily schedule then you should work out on the weekends. Focusing on your overall health. Don’t stress yourself by thinking about weight loss or weight gain. Just focus on your overall health. Lastly, it's fine to keep your workouts short. Short workouts are fine but they should be frequent.
